Useful Information Before Your Visit

Directions (to the Main Office)

The Osaka Immigration Bureau main office is located in the 大阪市住之江区南港(Suminoe-ku, Nanko) area, near “Cosmosquare (コスモスクエア).”

  • Osaka Metro Chuo Line (中央線) Cosmosquare Station (コスモスクエア駅): Exit from Exit 1 and walk south for approximately 10 minutes. From Honmachi (本町) Station, you can take the Chuo Line directly without transferring.
  • New Tram (ニュートラム) Nanko-Guchi Station (南港口駅): About 5 minutes on foot after exiting. Transfer from Cosmosquare Station to the New Tram for just one stop.
  • Bus: Osaka City Bus (大阪シティバス) Route 15 and others serve the Nanko area. Direct buses from Namba (なんば) are also available, which may be convenient depending on your starting point.

The Nanko area is somewhat far from central Osaka, so please allow extra travel time. From Namba Station it takes about 30-40 minutes, and from Umeda (梅田) Station about 40-50 minutes.
