Entertainer - Required Documents

The Entertainer visa status is for activities related to theatrical performances, entertainment shows, musical performances, sports, and other entertainment activities or other artistic performances.

Applicable Activities	Activities related to theatrical performances, entertainment shows, musical performances, sports, and other entertainment activities or other artistic performances (excluding activities falling under Business Manager status)
Period of Stay	3 years, 1 year, 6 months, 3 months, 15 days

Activity Types

Required documents vary depending on the intended activities in Japan.

1. Entertainment Activities (Theater, Shows, Music, Dance, Performance)

Standard 1 Category: Entertainment at venues (stay of 30 days or less)
Standard 2 Category: Other cases

2. Sports and Other Entertainment Activities

Entertainment other than theater, shows, music, dance, and performance (sports, etc.)

3. Artistic Performance Activities

Activities falling under the following:

Activities related to advertising products or businesses
Activities related to producing broadcast programs or films
Activities related to commercial photography
Activities related to recording on commercial records, videotapes, or other media

All certificates issued in Japan must be submitted within 3 months of the date of issue.
Documents written in foreign languages must be accompanied by a Japanese translation.
